Our Mission

Living Springs is here to help every person be transformed through faith and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We strive to be a community where all can thrive in faith, family, and fellowship!

Our Beliefs

The Bible is God’s message to humanity (II Timothy 3:16).
The family is God’s invention and we seek to bring families together, not separate them (Deuteronomy 6:6-7; Ephesians 6:4;Titus 2:3-5).
We believe in the one ever-living, eternal God: infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purpose; and possessing absolute, indivisible deity. This one true God has revealed Himself as Father; through His Son, in redemption; and as the Holy Spirit, by emanation (I Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 4:6; II Corinthians 5:19; Joel 2:28)
God came to earth in His Son to win the world to Himself (II Corinthians 5:19; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 2:5).
Believers enter the redeeming plan by turning from sin, taking on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in baptism, and receiving His Spirit with the experience of a language given from heaven (Acts 2:4, 38; 19:1-6).

Our team

Pastors

Mark and Elizabeth Plappert are licensed ministers with the United Pentecostal Church International and have degrees from Apostolic Bible Institute. They enjoy spending time with their children, working on church projects, and drinking coffee! Both are passionate about helping others cultivate their calling and relationship with Jesus.

youth pastor

Jessica James graduated from Apostolic Bible Institute in 2020 with an Associate degree in Christian ministries. While earning her degree, she worked in children, youth, and worship ministries. Jessica loves adventuring in coffee shops, farmer's markets, or anywhere she can bring along her dog Neala. Jessica is passionate about helping students find their purpose in life through Jesus.
